Kengharair Farm is ideal for a quiet, relaxing stay amid beautiful scenery. Although in a secluded position, it is only two and a quarter miles from the pretty village of Dervaig.

Calgary beach, with its beautiful white sand and safe, clean bathing is about five miles distant, and the town of Tobermory about ten miles

There are pleasant walks with a wide variety of wild life to be seen -otters, red deer, birds of prey (including the magnificent and rare golden Eagle), birds of the estuary, woodland and moorland, and herds of impressive Highland cattle. River and loch fishing is available at several spots within easy reach of Kengharair Farm, and boat trips can be arranged locally for sea angling, "whale watching" and trips to Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Isles. There are good launching points for dinghy sailing and wind surfing; golfers have the choice of two nine-hole courses, while for those who like to ride, pony trekking with expert guidance

The Self Catering Flat comprises the whole of the top floor of the farm house. There are three bedrooms, two double and one twin-bedded room, two of which have washbasins. Bedlinen and duvets are provided, and all the beds have electric blankets. A childs cot can be provided if prior notice is given. Mattress protectors are not provided

The fully fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, refrigerator, electric kettle and a toaster, and all the usual equipment including an automatic washing machine and a tumble dryer. The large lounge-dining room is comfortably furnished and has a colour television and electric fire The bathroom has an electric shower.

On the day of arrival guests are welcome from 3.30 p.m. onwards and on the day of departure are asked to leave by 10.00 a.m. I will be pleased to arrange for the supply of provisions to await your arrival- Bread, milk, eggs, potatoes etc.

The property is fully inspected before each let and we reserve the right to charge for any damage caused during the letting period which is not due to normal wear and tear.

Kengharair is a working farm, The owner shall not be held responsible or liable for any accident, loss or mishap to persons or property whilst using the premises or for any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever.

How to find Kengharair Farm

From Dervaig take the road to Calgary turn off to the left at the junction to Torloisk. The Kengharair farm road end is the second road on the left. The farm is situated on the hillside overlooking Glen Bellart, and is approached by a rough farm road one mile long; as this is a working farm with hill cattle and sheep I regret I cannot allow dogs to brought to Kengharair
