Scoor House is nestled in
a peaceful, remote location on the southwestern tip of the Isle of Mull.
Surrounded by grazing land, within easy walking distance of several
sandy beaches, Scoor offers an exceptional self-catering experience
for those who are seeking a memorable holiday in comfortable surroundings.
Visitors are delighted to find the rugged, natural beauty of the Ross
of Mull right on their doorstep.

The two-storey,
former farmhouse has been restored and converted to provide four,
fully-equipped, self-catering apartments, which are ideal for individuals,
large families, organisations or special interest groups.
There are
also two separate cottages with their own fenced gardens, which
are perfect for families. All the properties have stunning sea views
across the landscape towards the isles of the Hebrides. There is also
a walled, grassy area which is ideal for barbeques, playing games and
picnics.
|
|
|
Scoor is ideal for large groups,
as the six properties can comfortably accommodate up to 35 people in total.
The main house is particularly popular with students and family reunion
groups who enjoy the feeling of being all together, as well the convenience
of having their own facilities and privacy.
We are happy to discuss your
requirements and can offer special group rates and extra facilities such
as catering, daily housekeeping and laundry.
|
|
Scoor has
a variety of good quality accommodation available year round - from
cosy apartments (sleeping 1-4 people) to larger cottages (sleeping 6-8).
During the busiest season, the properties are usually let from Saturday
to Saturday, however off season we also do nightly/weekend rates.
We are particularly popular with large groups and families who like
to book several properties so that they can holiday together

Facilities
All the properties are fully-equipped
with all you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Fresh
bed linen is provided at the start of your stay and each week of your
visit. Daily housekeeping and basic catering can also be arranged for
an additional charge. All electricity for the properties is supplied
on a metered basis. A reading is taken on arrival and at the end of
your stay. The electricity is charged at standard Scottish Hydro rates
and the bill is settled before departure.
There is a communal utility
room where all guests have the complimentary use of a large freezer,
washing machine, tumble dryer and indoor drying facilities. Outdoor
drying facilities are also available. We provide eco-friendly cleaning
products and washing powder free of charge. The grassy areas around
Scoor House and the cottages, including a large walled garden, provide
a safe playing area for children. Please feel free to bring your outdoor
games and barbeques.
A payphone is available
for guest use in the entrance hall of the main farmhouse. This can also
receive incoming calls.
