Accommodations Mull

The Byre at Torlochan is situated at the centre of the Isle of Mull. 

The village of Salen is 2 miles from us and has 2 shops where you can get most essentials and motor fuel.

The Cottage sleeps 2 + 2
The accommodation comprises one living room / kitchen, a separate double bedroom and bathroom.

The cottage is available throughout the year, we are situated away from the main road, there is ample car parking.
Water is from a private supply.

The electricity is metered (£1 coins)
Logs and coal are provided.
We have no objection to well behaved dogs.

Features include the following :

• Open plan kitchen/Dining area with cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine
  
• Lounge with coal fire, TV, music centre and couch which converts into an extra double bed
  
• Bed room with a double bed
  
• Bathroom, bath and shower
  
• The cottage also has electric heating
  
• A cot can be provided if arranged beforehand.
  
• The bed will be made up ready for your arrival and towels are provided.

There is no public transport to Torlochan, but the service bus runs through Salen daily. There is a public phone box 1 mile from Torlochan.
Mull is ideal for exploring Ulva, Iona, the Treshnish isles and Staffa the home of Fingals cave,  various boat excursions visit these islands.

Pets are welcome subject to prior arrangement. 

There are many animals at Torlochan byre including freindly pigs, goats, hens, sheep, ducks, geese, and 3 of our own dogs.
