Mull is now regarded as one of the UK's top wildlife watching destination and one of the best in Europe.
There are organised wildlife trips for the enthusiasts however the casual observer, with a little patience and luck, maybe rewarded with sighting and photos of buzzard, henharrier, red deer, golden eagle, white tailed sea eagle, goosander, waxwing, seals, otter, dolphin, basking shark and minke whale, slow worm, adder, and common lizard.
Take a day trip to see the puffins and other seabirds which breed on the Treshnish isles.
See and photograph sea eagles from a specialised boat trip or from the hide.
The island of Mull has 300 miles of coastal roads traveling around great sea lochs which offer the perfect habitat for otter and waders.
